Dallas World Aquarium
1801 North Griffin Street, Dallas, TX 75202
Dallas World Aquarium is both an aquarium and a zoo and is located in downtown Texas. Like a lot of other zoos in the US, it actively promotes conservation of marine life and education of people towards being aware of the living situation of these animals.
The zoo takes in different animals which are either endangered or threatened as part of a breeding program they have coordinated with other zoos not only in the US but in other parts of the world.
The Dallas World Aquarium is not only home to aquatic animals but a lot of different animals and birds.
It also has the only three-toed sloth publicly displayed.
Families and friends who visit the aquarium will also have fun doing other things aside from sight-seeing. There are three different kinds of restaurants inside the aquarium and two gift shops.
You can take your pick from the restaurants to have a nice meal and head off to any of the gift shops to purchase pleasant souvenirs for your loved ones. But my favorite thing about the Dallas World Aquarium is that many of people working there are full-time students at the School of Business & Management at the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet High School.
