Find out more about British marine life as you tour around the well-recognized Horniman Museum Aquarium located at the basement of Horniman Museum in London. Constructed by Frederick Horniman in 1903, it is one of the oldest surviving aquariums in London.
The aquarium is home to 15 fascinating displays of natural habitats including a Fijian reef, a tropical rainforest, mangrove and rock pools and exhibits more than 150 species of marine plants and animals.
Both children and adults get to have a fun-filled exploration of the gallery for it also offers interactive games such as the Marine Marathon Magnetic Game, Whacky Facts Displays and other activity sheets and trail maps to guide you on your journey inside the gallery.
The Horniman Museum is open year round also houses a café and a gift shop on the ground floor and also provides bookable car parking spaces.
